ADSA Standards Training

Industry Standards | Including EN 16005 & BS 7036-0 Risk Assessment

EN 16005 is the European Standard that defines Requirements and Test Methods for safety in use of automatic doors for pedestrian use.

All pedestrian automatic doors installed since April 2013 should comply with the EN 16005.

ADSA has developed the EN 16005 training and examination which has been updated to the current standard to ensure that our member’s employees understand and comply.

ADSA member candidates can prepare for the training and examination by purchasing the current EN 16005 and BS 7036 standard publication. Please contact the office for further information.

Industry Standards | EN 17352

EN 17352 specifies requirements and test methods for Power Operated Pedestrian Entrance Control Equipment (POPECE) such as turnstiles, swing lanes and retractable lanes.

This accreditation outlines the standards requirements ensuring all systems can be correctly specified, fitted, inspected and maintained. It enables employers and their employees to demonstrate knowledge of the safety requirements and test methods within this product group.

This classroom-based course is initially for ADSA members who have already obtained the ADSA Powered Pedestrian Door (PPD) standards accreditation.

ADSA member candidates can prepare for the training and examination by purchasing the EN 17352 standard publication. Please contact the office for further information.

Once a candidate is ready to attend the ADSA EN Standards training and take the exam, please submit an application form for your preferred date below
