We are delighted that you are considering joining ADSA. When you have completed the membership application form, please click "Apply" and we will do the rest. On approval, you will be sent an email and invoice for membership. Once your payment is received, your membership certificate will be posted to you and your unique login for access into the members’ area of the website will be emailed to you.

 *Companies  and sole traders joining after June 30th will be only invoiced for the remainder of the year. . Please note membership is for the period of April - March.

 

Membership Band 

Criteria 

 

Sole Trader Member
  • Individual person holding a valid BS EN 16005 card or wanting to take the BS EN 16005
  • Must provide reference from an ADSA Member
  • References from 2 recently completed jobs
  • Must re-sit the BS EN 16005 exam after 3 years
 
Member
  • Manufacturer/installer/service & maintenance of automatic pedestrian doors
  • Reference from aan ADSA member and/or a review with a member of the ADSA team..
  • Minimum of 2 years trading as employees or subcontractors of the company holding valid  BS EN 16005 card
  • Minimum of 2 Engineers as employees or sub contractors of the company holding valid BS EN 16005 card
  • Committed to best practice and compliance

       or

  • A manufacturer/distributor of sensors or accessories to the industry
  • Subscription based on turnover with Automatic Doors
Provisional Member
  • 1 Year membership in which to get 2 engineers through the BS EN 16005
  • 2 Years to achieve all of above criteria for a member
  • Subscription based on turnover with Automatic Doors

ADSA Member Engineer
  • PAYE employee of ADSA member company
  • After 3 attempts of passing test must attend full combinedtraining by ADSA
  • Initially valid for 3 years
  • Subsequently renewable every 3 years
  • £35 NO VAT
  • Re-test due to test failure £35 NO VAT
 Non-Member Engineer
  • Individual person not PAYE employee of an ADSA Member company
  • 3 opportunities to pass test
  • Valid for 3 years only
  • Follow Sole Trader Membership criteria
  • Fee - see Approved Sole Trader Membership criteria
