The 2017 ADSA Charity Golf Day at the Branston Golf and Country Club attracted over 50 entries from many members including Chartwell Doors, RTR Services, MGSAxis Automation, Record UK, dormakabaInsight Automation, Horton Automatics, GEZE UK, Boon Edam, Doorwise, GU Automatic Doors. The Texas Scramble format enabled all abilities including the novice golfers to enjoy the team competition. 2016 winners, Insight Automation A achieved first place, just in front of the ADSA team and in third place Chartwell Doors. Each member of the winning team was presented with an ADSA trophy and bottle of Scotch.

Individual winners of the on-course competitions were Darren Hibberd (Boon Edam A), Justin Loveridge (GEZE UK) and Darren Hyde (ADSA)

The day started with breakfast and meeting friends and colleagues in the industry followed by the golf and rounded off with dinner. The sunny weather and lovely course ensured an enjoyable and competitive day. ADSA Chairman, Simon Bowden, thanked all those for attending and making the golf and dinner successful.

The event raised over £750 for 'Golf Fanatics International', who supply specialist wheelchairs for children under the age of 16. Many thanks go to Boon Edam, RTR Services, Branston Golf and Country Club and Enville Golf Club for donating prizes for the raffle and to Simon Bowden who made a very generous bid for a four ball and dinner at Enville Golf Club.

The ADSA Charity Golf Day is open to all members, their employees and their guests. 2018’s ADSA Charity Golf Day is on July 5th 2018.
